How Can You Create Redirection Link Between the Widgets?

One of the coolest features of the Broadage Sports Data Widgets is the interactive redirections between the two widgets. You can set up a redirection chain that will lead your users from one widget to another with just one click. We will teach you how to do it in minutes.

We will create a redirection from Soccer Standings Widget to Soccer Squad with Stats Widget. So let’s begin.

First of all, we need to go to the Widget Configurator Tool from our Account Area. (Widget Settings > Configurator). Then we will select the Standings Widget from the Soccer tab on the left sidebar.

Then, on the right side of the page, you can see the Basic and Advanced Widget settings section. In there, you should see the option that is called “Team Redirection to” which you can put a URL in it. This option allows you to redirect the match to match center or the team to the team page.

In Match Redirection, each sports-type has its’s own URL path. So first, you must select the sports type and then paste your URL path into the text box.

When you click the scoreboard of the match in the list, this action pastes Broadage SportsId(if needed) and MatchId into {reserved keyword} area(s) in the URL path.

In Team Redirection, you can insert broadage SportsId(if needed) and TeamId into {reserved keyword} area(s) in the URL path. It works only for Standings widgets.

After you enter your domain format, you can select the Redirection Type which will allow you to open your match center or team page in several frame types.

Blank: opens the page in a new window.

Top: breaks out of all frames and opens the page in the entire browser window.

Self: opens the page in the same frame.

Parent: opens the page in the upper frame.
